I offer lessons tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of children in Reception, Key Stage 1, and lower Key Stage 2 (ages 4-9 years). We can focus on Phonics, English, Maths, and other subjects of your choice. I aim to create a supportive learning environment that encourages experimentation, exploration, and critical thinking, incorporating elements of creativity, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning. Through these personalised lessons, I hope not only to support your child in their learning journey but most importantly, to help them improve their confidence.
Small Group Options
In addition to one-to-one sessions, I offer small group options, ideal for friends or relatives who wish to learn together, or for home education groups seeking a shared tutoring experience. While the primary focus remains on individual growth, small group sessions provide an opportunity for children to collaborate, engage in discussions, and learn from one another. These sessions are offered at a slightly reduced cost per child, making them an excellent choice for families looking for the benefits of group learning while maintaining a personalised approach. Sharing the tutoring experience allows children to develop social skills and teamwork, all while receiving tailored support.
Confidence
My main focus is on helping children grow in confidence and believe in themselves. Whether your child is struggling with their learning or you believe they could benefit from extra tuition, I am here to support them. With a nurturing and calm approach, I aim to create a safe and positive learning environment where children feel empowered to ask questions and embrace challenges. My goal is to assist each child in reaching their full potential, fostering their self-belief and instilling a sense of confidence. Helping children believe in themselves is what matters most to me.
Fees and Availability
- One-to-one sessions: £25 per hour (plus travel costs, if applicable).
- Small group sessions: Fees per child will vary depending on the group size but will be reduced compared to individual sessions. This option is ideal for friends, relatives, or home education groups seeking shared tutoring experiences.
Sessions are available during term time, with arrangements for school holiday sessions available through discussion.
